Tips for wellness that will enhance your life.



I've added here my favourite tips for wellness that all have improved my life. My guess is they will improve your's too so why not start by bookmarking this page.


"Are you like me? Then you dont want to go to a doctor to hear him say : 'You are definitely under great stress. Lie down immediately.' When I start to protest he abruptely cuts me off: 'Don't speak, lie down I said and relax, breathe deeply and calm yourself. And take all these pills and don't think of anything that can upset you. At all.'

No. That's not what I want or need. I'd like to feel comfortable and among friends, women and men with similar problems, and talk and share.


I'd like to cure stress with creative ideas. I'd like to disturb my brain with new thoughts that brings it off course and when it's in this state of chaos I will lead it into a world of colorful imaginative creations of hopes, dreams and love."


Although friends and friendship are one of the most important assets a person can have, I believe it's essential for all of us to regularily take time to be on our own too.

Without the company of someone else, we will get the opportunity to learn about ourselves. It could be this is the most important of the tips for wellness shared here.

If the weather is nice and I can, I like to spend time outdoors. I've done this since I was a child. I used to take my bike and ride off to a place in the woods with a little stream gently passing through. I loved it there. Or, I could just ride my bike around, feel the wind in my hair and look at the trees and birds flying by. I still do that from time to time.
There have been other times in my life when I've had the time to spend on myself but nowhere to be. This was affecting me much more than I at first realized. I became irritated, lacked patience and started to pick up some pretty bad behaviour before it became clear to me what I needed but didn't get.

My personal recovery spot today includes a comfortable couch with pillows and a handwowen wool blanket, a bookshelf for some of my favourite books, keepsakes and photos. Stuff that makes me feel good and puts a smile in my heart, and a lamp that sheds soft not too bright light. There also has to be a soft rug because I sit a lot on the floor and, finally, a sound system so I can listen to music.
To have a place where you can be on your own should be an important thing in your life. Remember:
